A wondrous array of blackberry, pepper, dried meat, soft lavender, well-integrated lilac and crushed graphite show on the nose of this bottling from a vineyard planted in 2008. A firm but not overpowering tannic structure and bright acidity present flavors of dried violets, blueberry and tar on the palate.
