Woodenhead makes a range of Pinot Noirs from both the Russian River and Anderson valleys and this one starts out with an earthy ring of raspberry, a lot of black tea and some herbal undertones. Still impacted from its time in oak, the finish is hard to pinpoint, slightly spicy and unresolved.
