This single-vineyard Merlot smells sweetly of ripe black plums with just a whisper of menthol and Band Aid. Soft on the palate, there’s a good amount of dark fruit, but it’s a tad tired and dusty. The finish is strong with a high-toned acidity and firm tannins.
