Cassis, blackberry, animal hide, herb and olive aromas create a good nose. The palate is thick feeling, with herbal black-fruit flavors, carob and spice. On the back side, it’s bold but burns a little with heat, oak and acidity. By and large, this captures the good elements of Carmenère.
