A blend of 85% Cabernet Franc and 15% Merlot, this descriptively named wine has a nose of raspberry, bell pepper and leather. Flavors of black cherry, raspberry, eucalyptus, anisette and clove coalesce on the palate among chewy tannins. The refined finish is enlivened by a burst of crystalline acidity.
