This is still young and closed, but pretty aromas of rose, perfumed berry, baking spice and menthol eventually emerge. The palate delivers crunchy red cherry, raspberry, white pepper, anise and a balsamic note alongside austere but fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity. Give it time to open up and develop complexity. Drink 2018–2028.
