Crunchy red cherry and stone, the merest hint of vanilla and a densely-packed but toned texture of bundled, fine tannins make for a compact wine. This is too young to show its true colours now and will take time to relax into itself and unfold St Laurent’s cherry charm. Right now, everything is tightly grasped and coiled. Drink 2017–2025.
