Buttered toast and baked bread aromas announce that this is a well-oaked SB. Apple, melon and lemon flavors all get support from powerful oak, while the finish is spicy, toasty, warm and full. This is a flavorful, full-bodied wine, but it is on the opposite end of the spectrum from lean.
