Coming from the Chumash tribe-owned Camp 4 Vineyard, this blend of 40% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 25% Mourvèdre offers concentrated violets, blackberry, leather, cedar and interesting tomato leaf on the nose. The palate is not as dense as the nose suggests, but packs in tandoori spice, pipe smoke and vanilla, making it a wine that could handle a cigar.
