Mainly Grenache and Syrah, co-fermented with Viognier. It’s a massively rich, dense wine, erupting in raspberry and cherry pie filling, cassis, blackberry liqueur, sandalwood and spice flavors. A real crowd pleaser, forward and dramatic, if a bit high in alcohol. A great steak wine.
