Sanctuary 2011 Bien Nacido Vineyard Pinot Noir (Santa Maria Valley)

This is a fine Pinot Noir, but it does show that not everything bearing a Bien Nacido origin is great. The wine is good for drinking now, with a proper acid-tannin structure and rich but simple cherry, raspberry, cola and sandalwood flavors.
