On first sniff, the scent of sulfur shrouds this wine, but it fades with air to reveal tinges of grapefruit, white pepper, honeysuckle and a legume-like quality. The flavors seem restrained from the start, but they gain intensity with time. Zesty acidity gives the palate cut.
