From the rocky, high-elevation appellation north of Dry Creek Valley, this Zin is rich in baked and velvety layers of brown sugar and blackberry compote, with a softness on the palate. Full bodied, it pushes on ripeness but reins in any excess by coaxing lively acidity from the fruit.
