In almost any other producer’s lineup, this would be deemed a success, but in the context of Rippon’s exalted reputation, this is a bit of a disappointment. Ripe pear, melon and citrus flavors are off dry and marked by floral notes, finishing clean and mouthwatering, but don’t have much of the expected complexity.
