Swirls of rich, ripe yellow peach and orange penetrate the palate of this finely textured spätlese. It’s thrilling and zesty yet lusciously juicy, finishing long with a slatey, mineral tang. It drinks beautifully now but should maintain its fresh, fruity disposition till at least 2020 and gain elegance and minerality for another decade.
