This delicately colored rosé is made by adding red wine to Chardonnay, allowed in the Champagne region, and hence the name Rosé des Blancs. It’s a new venture for Gimonnet, under the current direction of Didier Gimonnet, and is a great success. Fruity, crisp and steely. it is light and bright; a fine apéritif style.
