Merry Edwards nailed this one. Lush and smooth as velvet, it shows enormously deep, ripe blackberry, cherry, raspberry, leather, cola, soy-splashed Portobello, vanilla and cinnamon spice flavors. But it’s also a very young wine, to judge from the freshness of acids and tannins. Drink now, with decanting, and should age well for up to a decade.
