This inky, unfiltered Merlot is a chore to get through. For starters, the saturated bouquet is murky and less than fresh. In the mouth, expect a blocky, extracted mouthfeel and roasted flavors of herbal berry and raisin. Lastly, there’s a tannic grab as well as particles and chunks floating about.
