Kunde 2011 Wildwood Vineyard Chardonnay (Sonoma Valley)

This is appealing for its richness, but it’s heavily oaked with buttered toast and butterscotch flavors that overwhelm the underlying fruit. Too bad, because it’s a nice Chardonnay with bright pineapple and orange flavors supported by fine acidity.
