Keating 2009 Montecillo Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma Valley)

Generous in blackberries, blueberries and cedar, with a pleasantly meaty, smoky edge. Quite fine in its own way, but a bit angular at this time. Blame it on immaturity, and give this young Cabernet at least five years to mellow out.
