Mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, with some Cabernet Franc and Merlot, this wine is exuberantly rich and sweet in ripe blackberry, black cherry and chocolate fruit. Smoky oak plays a crucial role, in both flavors and texture. It’s a very pretty, polished wine, elegant and balanced and ready to drink now. Production was a hefty 11,000 cases.
