At the south end of Chassagne-Montrachet, Morgeots Premier Cru is close to abbey ruins. This young, toasty wine is ripe, smooth and creamy. Rich apple and green plum flavors are balanced by acidity and touched by honey. The wood aging is still prominent and needs to tone down, so drink from 2018.
