Aromas of barnyard and horsehide blend with scents of tobacco, prune and raisin on this mature wine from a hot vintage. There’s a lot of cushion to the palate, while raisiny, rich flavors of cassis and black plum are spicy and chocolaty. Spice and chocolate flavors persist on a fairly flat finish.
