This simple style of Marlborough Pinot delivers notes of bramble berry, licorice and cola on the nose, with a slightly more complex palate of dark cherry, mocha spice and dried leaves. The oak is a little prevalent throughout and texturally it’s on the lean and mean side, but the fruit carries through until the end, keeping the gluggability factor up.
