With a firm, almost granite structure, this is a terroir-driven wine, from a quinta named after the River Mondego that flows through the Dão region. It has a dense, tannic character based on ripe berry fruits and concentrated juicy black currants. The wine is intense and still needing to age. Drink from 2018.
