Country: US / Aspect
Variety: Pinot Noir Oregon
Winery: Domaine Serene / Dundee Hills
This new cuvée blends fruit from three of the estate vineyards—Mark Bradford, Grace and Côte Sud. It’s medium bodied, with a mix of dried cherries, chocolate and herb. Somehow those flavors don’t quite knit together. The wine feels a bit unfocused, though all the components are individually fine. It would be worth waiting until 2018 or 2019 before pulling the cork on this one.
