Pegau’s rare white Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a blend of 60% Clairette, 20% Grenache Blanc, 10% Roussanne and 10% Bourboulenc. Despite being full bodied and viscous on the palate, there’s no sense of heaviness—the wine’s aromas and flavors of barely ripe melon, anise and honeyed citrus seem to float on the palate, ending in a mouthwatering finish.
