Heavy, soft and a little sweet, this lacks the vibrant dryness and zest a good Pinot should have. The blackberry and cherry flavors have a slightly burnt, pie-filling flavor. Domaine Chandon has done better with Pinot Noir in the past, and it can do better than this.
