Dion 2014 Chardonnay (Chehalem Mountains)

The rich gold hue and the scents of bruised, slightly cooked fruit, suggest that premature oxidation is setting in. Two bottles were tasted, with comparable results. It’s lemony, somewhat oily, penetrating and concentrated, but should be consumed now through 2017.
