Made with organically farmed fruit, this opens with aromas of ripe plum, tilled earth, leather and spice. The dense, warm palate delivers crushed blackberry, blueberry extract, oak, black pepper, espresso and cinnamon alongside big, velvety tannins. It’s flamboyant but it’s shy on freshness and the burn of searing alcohol throws it off balance.
