Done in the very dry, herbally infused Santa Cruz Mountains style, this blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc offers cohesive aromas of black cherry, oregano, gravel and graphite. The mouthfeel is soft but with a tannic tension, showing tart and cedar-laced black plum, elderberry, bittersweet chocolate and tobacco flavors.
