The Cabernet in this blend is Cabernet Franc, making it a Right Bank Bordeaux-style blend, at an astonishingly low price. Tart berry fruit and some stiff tannins suggest that a bit more bottle age may help to soften it; there are already some pleasing suggestions of barrel toast that run through the aromas and on into the finish.
