Pressed blackberries, bubbling cola, and violet-lilac extract shows brilliantly on the nose of this wine by Annette Hoff Danzer, one of Monterey’s few women winemakers. The purple flowers concentrate on the front of the palate, followed by a dark, tannic rush of espresso, dark chocolate and black pepper.
