Country: US / Three Vineyard
Variety: Pinot Gris Oregon
Winery: Chehalem / Willamette Valley
It clocks in at an astonishing 15% alcohol, but does not show it in terms of flavor. The fruit is plenty ripe and a bit thick, but well-supported with acidity. Nonetheless the wine seems heavy and monolithic, having lost some of the vivid freshness of the other Chehalem white wines from this vintage.
