Old vines and low yields have concentrated this wine wonderfully. It is the essence of the stony, chalk and clay soil, powerfully driven by its dark fruits and immense tannins. New wood aging has added spice and has also begun the process of rounding out this impressive wine. It still needs to age and shouldn’t be touched before 2018.
