This second wine of Château de Belcier has a good texture, jammy ripe strawberry fruits and light tannins. A wine with acidity and a character, it will be ready to drink soon. Drink from mid-2016. MACIF, a mutual insurance company, bought the estate in the 1980s and restored the vineyards and château that was built by François de Belcier, a counter-revolutionary who was guillotined in 1794.
