The Tain cooperative’s luxury cuvée of Crozes-Hermitage is marked by touches of vanilla and cedar, yet retains some sinewy herbal notes and ample black cherry fruit. It’s medium-bodied, well structured and firm, even a bit crisp, on the finish. It’s modern and oak-influenced, but well done.
