Although this wine starts off a little closed and muted, with time it opens up to reveal a nuanced and refined Chenin. Hints of chalk, soft white florals and red apple unfold in the bouquet, with more dominant flavors of sweet tangerine, ripe melon and leesy richness flesh out the mouth. There’s a soft oakiness throughout, though it’s never overpowering or out of line.
