This winery’s workhorse blend of 45% Syrah, 40% Grenache, 8% Counoise and 7% Mourvèdre shows aromas of boysenberry, asphalt, peppercorn and lilac on the nose. The mouthfeel is soft yet the palate is still wound up nicely, offering tart plum, black raspberry, black pepper, chipped slate and earthy flavors.
