This is a solid, slightly earthy wine of medium concentration. The black cherry core is framed with dried herb, dark chocolate, and a dusting of coffee grounds. In the context of the vintage, it seems to have a bit more heft and power than most of the other Adelsheim single vineyard Pinots.
