This Cabernet-dominant blend is drinking young, with firm, gripping tannins and a tight structure. There’s plenty of black fruit flavors to flesh out the palate, along with complex nuances of licorice root, creme de cassis, cigar-box spice and a touch of bitter chocolate. Give it a few years in the cellar for the tannins to mellow a bit.
