This wine is made in a full-throttle style, with aromas of toast, melted butter, spice and vanilla—the latter from the 100% new American oak aging. It’s creamy in feel, with citrus and stone-fruit flavors on the finish. The barrel influence is a bit obvious but it’s hard to deny its appeal.
